Be a volunteer at the Summer Academy of Arts in Sozopol and Burgas.

What?

Summer Academy of Arts has already established its tradition in the summer cultural poster of the cities of Sozopol and Burgas.

We are an educational platform for young talents who are taught by world-famous artists and pedagogues in various genres of art. The program of the Academy includes many masterclasses, concerts, events, and exhibitions, in which musicians, artists, and painters from all over the world meet each other.

Volunteers are being sought for the following key tasks:

• Meeting the participants and teachers at any time of the day, accompanying and accomodating them in their rooms;
• Daily assistance of the teachers in conducting the masterclasses (from unlocking the doors of the hall to locking them after the end of all the work)
• Dissemination of informational materials (i.e. posters fastly reaching different places in the cities of Sozopol and Burgas)
• Assistance in the preparation of the individual events (from arranging chairs in the halls to preparing materials for the social media)
• Finding additional private accommodation, if those with which the Academy is working run out.

Preference is given to the volunteers who have the opportunity to commit for the entire needed period.

Why?

VOLUNTEERS, who share the ideas of the forum and want to gain experience in the field of modern art and culture play a very important part in the team of the Academy.

They are actively needed and involved in the organization during the event. In order to become a volunteer in the Summer Academy of Arts, you will need to write at least five sentences about yourself and why you want to become a part of the cultural event.

Needed skills?

It will be expected that you are proactive, expeditious, and extremely responsible for the tasks given to you.

Certificate?

Yes. All volunteers receive a certificate for participation.

Accommodation and food?

The organizers do not have the opportunity to cover the costs of accommodation and food for the volunteers, but we can offer you accommodation in private rooms and guest houses in the town of Sozopol for BGN 15 for a bed.
